The Fern Grotto is a geological wonder of Kauai, formed millions of years ago, where ferns actually grow upside down from the roof of the Grotto. Free Parking is available.

Paddle approximately two miles up the river's North Fork where you will start your trek through a tropical rainforest. This sacred valley is lined with scenic waterways and cascades, great for a refreshing dip. A short hike away is Uluwehi (secret) Falls, great for a refreshing dip. You will hike back to the kayaks and return back down the river. The entire family will enjoy this adventure!
