Afternoon Whale Watch
Enjoy hot and cold pupus (appetizers) and prepare to enter the world of the humpback whales! Experience the grace of their arching dives and learn about these "gentle giants" from a professional marine naturalist. Check-in is beachside of the Westin Maui at the Activity Desk. Guests should bring beach towels, sunscreen, and a camera. Parking is available at the Whaler's Village for a fee.

 

Zipline Canopy Tour
Harness up and zip Costa Rican style from tree to tree. Soar through the canopy of giant eucalyptus trees while enjoying seven different zipline runs entwined with multiple aerial deck transfers, tree-to-tree suspension bridges, and unsurpassed views of the Pacific Ocean and Maui's verdant North Shore. Imagine your thrill as you reach heights of 70 feet, with speeds to 40 mph, on ziplines up to 900' long! Fast, fun and exhilarating, the Zipline Canopy Tour was designed to thrill first time zippers, as well as the most experienced zipline enthusiasts. This exclusive zipline experience takes place on a historic WWII site called "Camp Maui." Located just 25 minutes from the Kahului port and airport, in beautiful Haiku, Maui, you'll find this eco-adventure the whole family can enjoy. Restrictions: Participants must be at least 5 years of age and weigh less than 270 lbs. If you have an existing heart condition, back problem, or are pregnant, this tour is not for you. All participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Tours are weather permitting. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a custodial parent. Parent does not have to zipline.

 

Hana Adventure Tour
Explore the secrets of the lush tropical beauty of Maui's Hana coast. You will tour through the old sugar mill town of Paia and along the magnificent coastline past world famous windsurfing beaches. Travel on to Kaumahina State Park and the crashing waves of Keanae Valley Lookout, Pua`a Ka`a, Waianapanapa State Parks and Wailua Falls. Your journey continues on the famous road to Hana and Hasegawa General Store. Your professional guide will escort you to Kipahulu where you will discover Ohe`o Stream and Pools and stop for a refreshing swim (weather and time permitting). See cascading waterfalls, lush rainforest and fantastic vistas.

 

Undersea Adventure
Marvel at Maui's unique underwater paradise aboard a high-tech 48-passenger submarine. Explore beautiful natural coral reefs and their marine inhabitants at depths of up to 100 feet during this unforgettable journey! Check in at the Atlantis Submarines retail store in the Pioneer Inn on Front Street. Tour time is 1 hour and fifty minutes. Actual underwater time is 45 minutes. Shuttle ride to the submarine plus transfer is 10 minutes each way. Passengers must be physically capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder unassisted in order to ride.

 

Kayak, Snorkel & Waterfall Hike
Do it all! On this tour you will get to hike in a rainforest, swim under waterfalls, kayak along ocean cliffs and snorkel with green sea turtles. On the ocean, it's a 2.5-hour kayak along the rugged sea cliffs of West Maui. You'll also get to snorkel with Hawaii's large green turtles. After kayaking, your tour guide will take you from ocean to rainforest for a "short" hike. Hike 1-mile to 2 waterfalls and pools where you can swim, jump and swing on a rope attached to a giant banyan tree. Lunch is included. We recommend that you dress comfortable in shorts & a shirt, wear your swimsuit under your clothing for swimming, wear athletic shoes and bring a towel and sunscreen. No transportation included. Check in will be at Ukumehame Beach Park. You will look for a "Hike Maui" vehicle.

old lahaina luau  
Enjoy an evening of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, music, cultural dances and island crafts at the Old Lahaina Luau, which is rich in authentic Hawaiian tradition. Guests will appreciate a genuine reflection of Hawaii's rich history while enjoying an ocean view and sunset. Choose either the "traditional" seating with cushions on the grass directly in front of the stage or the "conventional" table seating. Shortly before sunset the evening entertainment begins with a story told through hula. Photographs are available for purchase.

Set in a spectacular oceanfront setting where the Hawaiian Ali'i (Royalty) would feast and entertain. Lele is the ancient name of Lahaina. The Feast takes luau to an unprecedented level. Enjoy fine dining while being entertained by the luau show just steps from your seat. This is an intimate event. No crowd feeling as you are at your exclusive table. Every seat is a "preferred" seat. The menu is an experience in fine dining prepared by Executive Chef Adrian Aina from I'O and Pacific'O's fame. This is no buffet style luau.

Lanai Snorkel & Dolphin Excursion  
Check in at Pier One, Lahaina Harbor. This tour is on a 55' power catamaran with a waterslide and glass-bottom. Whether you're an experience snorkeler or this is your first time, this Molokini snorkel adventure will bring you closer to the undersea world of Maui's waters. The glass bottom viewing area, waterslide, fresh water showers, and water stairs make this experience unforgettable. Flotation devices, wetsuits, optical masks, cameras, and fish food are available.

 

Snorkel Sail Adventure
Check-in will be beachside of the Westin Maui at the Activity Desk. Guests should bring beach towels, sunscreen and camera. Parking is available at the Whaler's Village for a fee. Snorkel and discover an underwater paradise! Explore coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and seek to encounter the endangered Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. Non-swimmers can peer through the glass bottom viewing ports and swimmers can enjoy a fresh water rinse after snorkeling. Enjoy a buffet lunch catered by the Westin Maui.

Rainforest and Waterfall Rappel  
We'll hike to overlooks of the waterfalls, including a stunning 230-foot waterfall. We'll rappel down 30- and 40-foot waterfalls. There will be opportunities to swim beneath the waterfalls. During most of the year there's wild fruit to eat along the trail. Beginners can rappel down an easy descent and may easily climb back up the cliff, if you'd like to practice another easy rappel. Our policy is to provide a guide at the top of the cliff to make sure you begin the rappel safely. At the bottom of the rappel we have a second guide who belays you. That means that (s)he can control your descent if necessary and stop you at any time or guide you gently to the bottom if necessary. Our guide at the top can pull you back up, if you need that kind of assistance. Our entire program is geared for safety. What to bring: Wear long shorts or light-weight pants, a change of clothes, a towel, your choice of water wear, shoes with traction, and sun protection. Be prepared to play in rugged terrain. Max. Be sure to arrive early so you don't miss the Imu Ceremony where guests are invited to gather around an underground oven while our cooks unearth the evening's main course, Kalua Pig.
